A LITTLE HELP FOR YOUR NEXT BINDER PROJECT

How to track a Pokémon master set

Set a collection scope, keep one row or slot for each printing you want, and update ownership when a card arrives. Use your binder and a checklist together so a shared collector number does not hide a missing finish.

Track the printing, not just the Pokémon

Useful fields are the card name, source set, language, printed number, finish and owned status. This matters especially for a Pokémon collection that spans expansions or a master set with several finishes of the same card.

Decide where extras belong before numbering the binder pages. A related promo may be part of your collecting goal without being a numbered card in the expansion.

A small routine that keeps the binder up to date

  1. Open the exact set or Pokémon collection you are building.
  2. Choose the groups and finishes in your collection scope.
  3. Mark owned slots with + in My binder, or use Your collection in Cards.
  4. When a new card arrives, replace its placeholder and mark that printing owned.
  5. Use Print missing only when you want a new batch of inserts.

What gets remembered

BinderPress keeps ownership on this device in this browser when browser storage is available. It does not require an account for that local progress or for beta PDF exports.

Optional account saves are snapshots you choose to save or update. They are not a promise of automatic cross-device synchronization. Clearing site data can remove unsaved local work, so keep your account-library snapshot current if you use it.

Check the checklist as your goal changes

Adding a parallel group or related promos can increase the total without changing the cards you already own. Recheck the scope and selected count after adding groups or refreshing a catalog.

Missing artwork is different from a missing checklist identity. A name-and-number placeholder can still reserve the correct slot; inspect its source set and finish rather than substituting a visually similar card.
