Free beta · Data use
Your collection. Your choices.
This notice describes how the current BinderPress beta handles data. You can use the studio and export PDFs without an account. Saving a project to your account is optional.
Last updated October 24, 2026.
Work saved on this device
The studio uses your browser's IndexedDB storage for the current project, card selections, settings, cached checklists, and custom frames. Imported checklist files and card scans become part of that local project. Browser storage can be cleared or become unavailable; use “Save project” to download a portable backup.
Project downloads can contain card images, checklist details, selections, and custom frames. Anyone you share a project file with can inspect those contents. The studio does not ask you for an AI provider API key.
Optional saves to your account
When you choose to sign in, the hosting sign-in service provides an account identifier and may provide a name and email address. BinderPress uses the account identifier to associate saved data with you and may display your account name. Signing in alone does not upload your local project.
If you explicitly save a collection to your account, BinderPress stores its project contents and name in the application database. This can include imported scans and custom frame data inside the project. If you explicitly save a frame to your account, its image is stored in file storage, with its name and frame specification or prompt in the database. These optional saves can be opened again while signed in.
A premium-interest submission stores your account identifier, the selected interest category, and a timestamp. It does not create a purchase.
Catalogs and image requests
Set browsing requests pass through the BinderPress catalog service to TCGdex. The application caches catalog responses in its database and may reuse a cached response if the upstream catalog is temporarily unavailable.
When a catalog scan fails, the service may check additional card databases, including the Pokémon TCG dataset and Jacob Corbett’s Pokémon TCG catalog, using the card’s set, name, number and language. Account details and API keys are not sent in these lookups. External card scans and set logos are requested from their image hosts when needed. An image URL in an imported checklist can cause a request to that host. Those providers can receive ordinary request information such as your IP address and browser details. The bundled anniversary card scans, frames, fonts, and logo are served with the app.
Curated frame designs
Frame designs are prepared before they are added to the app. Choosing a frame does not send your card selection, creative prompts or an API key to an AI provider. The customer-facing studio has no AI generation feature.
If you import a frame file, it stays in your local project unless you explicitly save it or the project to your account. Older project files may contain a frame prompt or specification saved by an earlier version; importing a project does not run that prompt.
PDFs and service operations
PDFs are generated in your browser and downloaded through your browser. BinderPress does not need to upload the generated PDF to create it.
The service uses temporary rate-limit records based on an hourly hash of an account identifier or network address to control request volume. It also supports aggregate daily counts of visits, studio opens, PDF downloads, and premium-interest actions when those events are sent. The application's aggregate table stores a daily event type and total count. Hosting and upstream providers may process ordinary request and operational logs.
Removing your data
Clear this site's browser storage to remove locally saved projects and frames. This does not remove downloaded files from your device or anything you have saved to your account.
The account-data deletion action removes saved collection records, saved frame links, and premium-interest records from the application database. It does not delete your ChatGPT account or automatically clear local browser storage. Frame files can be shared internally by their content hash; the current deletion implementation retains the underlying file bytes after removing your saved links. It does not promise immediate removal from every storage system or provider log.
Payments are not open
Checkout is available only when the service has enabled its configured payment provider. When available, purchases are processed by Paddle; our application receives order identifiers, payment status, and account-access records rather than your full card details. The checkout script loads only when you choose to open checkout. A pending transaction identifier is kept in this tab’s session storage so you can resume or check the same purchase after a reload. The current account-data deletion implementation retains transaction, entitlement, and payment-event records for reconciliation; it does not erase those records with saved projects.
